BUILDING OUR MENU

 

As construction on our building is wrapping up, we're putting in long hours testing fresh meats & cheeses (for our sandwiches, and available to purchase in bulk) perfecting our house-made pastrami (made with a 14-day brine), fine tuning our rubs, smoked tofu, cookies, cheesecakes, and pies... 

We'll be carrying all the deli classics: gourmet condiments, seasonal soups, coleslaws, pasta salads, chilled side-dishes—and of course—the black and white cookie. 

While we put the finishing touches on our menu, we've invited the public to join us in taste testing: at the Rocktown Chili Throwdown in August (2nd-place award winning "Pastrami-on-Rye" chili!) and the Mac-And-Cheese-Off in October with our "Lola Mac".

MEET LOLA MO

The townie trio whose powers have combined to make deli dreams come true. 

 

 

LOgan Strawderman

"While happily owning and operating the food truck, I was always thinking of what was next. I knew I eventually wanted to bring something to downtown Harrisonburg that did not exist but was needed. Something that was exciting but classic, original but timeless. As a little city, we have embraced many aspects of major metropolitan areas, such as breweries, food trucks, markets, etc. When I traveled to these cities, my favorite eateries were always in abundance and variety: the neighborhood deli."
